ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКА ТА ТИПОЛОГІЯ ІННОВАЦІЙ ЯК ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ КАТЕГОРІЇ
Анотація
Розглянуто трактування поняття "інновації" вітчизняними та іноземними науковцями, визначено переваги та недосконалості таких означень та уточнено зміст категорії. Досліджено типологізування інновацій за низкою типологічних ознак, проаналізовано виділення науковцями певних видів і типів інновацій та узагальнено погляди на формування типології інновацій як економічної категорії. Результатом аналізування стало виокремлення основних типологічних ознак та відповідних різновидів інновацій, подано їх коротку характеристику, внесено зміни до назв типологічних ознак та їхніх складових. На основі попереднього аналізу сформовано власну типологію інновацій. Додано власні типологічні ознаки до вже сформованих попередньо ознак. З метою більш ефективного використання типології, певні типологічні ознаки було об'єднано в одну або замінено новими. Доцільний аналіз типології інновацій дозволив грунтовніше дати означення інноваціям та сформувати нові типи.

CHARACTERISTICS AND TYPOLOGY OF INNOVATIONS AS AN ECONOMIC CATEGORY
Summary
The operation of enterprises of various activities and forms of ownership is based on the application of innovations (product, intellectual property, process, technological or management, etc.). To ensure the effective operation, their presence is obligatory. The innovation sphere in the economy is not a concept new. However, quite often, the application of innovations is not given due importance by domestic enterprises. This position causes decreases in the competitiveness of goods or services and companies as a whole. Domestic enterprises need to clearly understand the nature of innovation, their varieties, and their meaning. For professional understanding, it is necessary to clearly distinguish the concept of innovation from other related categories and their varieties.
The dominant purpose of this article is to investigate the essence of the concept of "innovation", to isolate the differences this concept from synonymous concepts, and to formulate a typology of innovation.
The scientific improvements developed in the article concerns the study of the essence of the concept of innovation as an economic category and the identification of types of innovation by appropriate typological features. The article considers the interpretation of the concept of "innovation" by domestic and foreign scientists, identifies the advantages and imperfections of such definitions and clarifies the content of the category. Typology of innovations on several typological traits is investigated, the selection by scientists of certain kinds and types of innovations is analyzed, and the views on the formation of the typology of innovations as an economic category are generalized. The result of the analysis was the identification of the main typological features and the corresponding types of innovations, their brief characteristics were given, the names of the typological features and their components were changed. Based on the preliminary analysis, were created the own typology of innovations. Own typological features have been added to pre-formed features. To make better use of the typology, certain typological features have been merged into one or replaced with new ones. An expedient analysis of the typology of innovations made it possible to more thoroughly define innovations and generate new types.
The prospects for further research should be based on monitoring legislation in the context of applying innovation by enterprises, also research should be deepened in the context of determining the effects and effectiveness when implemented their specific types.
