ТРАНСФОРМАЦІЯ ТУРИЗМУ В УКРАЇНІ НА ПРИНЦИПАХ СТАЛОГО РОЗВИТКУ: ДОСВІД ЄВРОПЕЙСЬКИХ КРАЇН
Анотація
Статтю присвячено вивченню європейського досвіду щодо формування сталого розвитку та можливості використання закордонних практик у реалізації туризму на принципах сталості в Україні. У роботі проведено періодизацію основних етапів формування сталого розвитку у світі з визначенням основних питань та ключових принципів, які були прийняті у документах міжнародних організацій. Визначено місце та роль туризму у концепції сталого розвитку. На основі дослідження основних принципів сталого розвитку, побудовано матрицю відповідності ключових питань туризму цілям сталого розвитку. Досліджено практику регулювання сталого туризму Європейським Союзом, також розглянуто на прикладі європейських країн практику впровадження ключових принципів сталого розвитку. Визначено, що туризму як пріоритетній сфері економіки притаманні принципи сталості, які є екологічно прийнятними, соціально значимими та економічно справедливими.

TRANSFORMATION OF TOURISM IN UKRAINE ON THE PRINCIPLES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE
Summary
The article is devoted to the study of European experience in the formation of sustainable development and the possibility of using foreign practices in the implementation of tourism on the principles of sustainability in Ukraine. Since the principles of balanced development (here in after referred to as sustainable) have evolved over a considerable period of time, due to changes in approaches to the environment, the periodization of the main stages of the formation of sustainable development in the world has been carried out, identifying the main issues and guidelines that were accepted in documents of international organizations. The place and role of tourism in the concept of sustainable development are determined. Through its multifaceted and inclusive nature, the importance of tourism was identified in three key areas: environmental, social and economic through the implementation of the basic principles of sustainable development.
Based on the study of the basic principles of sustainable development, the matrix of the correspondence of key tourism issues to the goals of sustainable development was constructed. As a result of which it was established that the implementation of the principles of sustainable development allows, besides the main activity of enterprises of the tourism industry, to pay attention to the key spheres of life, taking responsibility not only to consumers of services, but also other groups of stakeholders.
The practice of regulation of sustainable tourism by the European Union is explored. The practice of introducing the key principles of sustainable development in tourism is considered in the example of European countries. It is established that the largest hotel chains of the world have made the first steps towards the corporate sustainability of the hotel. The most successful hotels that implemented the principles of sustainable development in practice were Rezidor's Radisson SAS, Hilton's Scandic and Grand Stanford Hong Kong. In the article is determined that tourism as a priority area of the economy uses the principles of sustainability, which are environmentally acceptable, socially significant and economically equitable.
