РЕТРОСПЕКТИВНИЙ АНАЛІЗ ФОРМУВАННЯ МІЖНАРОДНИХ ФІНАНСОВИХ ЦЕНТРІВ

Анотація

Статтю присвячено ретроспективному аналізу формування міжнародних фінансових центрів як ключових інститутів глобального фінансового ринку, котрі наприкінці ХХ ст. почали відігравати ключову роль у накопиченні й обігу міжнародного капіталу, що супроводжується об'єктивним процесом глобалізації та фінансіалізації.
Розглянуто історичні аспекти становлення і розвитку міжнародних фінансових центрів. У статті проаналізовано підходи до визначення дефініції "міжнародний фінансовий центр" у зарубіжній та вітчизняній літературі, дано авторське трактування цього терміну. Виокремлено особливості формування традиційних та "нових" фінансових центрів. У статті наголошується, що країни, орієнтовані на подальше формування міжнародного фінансового центру на своїй території, повинні розробити насамперед сприятливі умов. Запропоновано, що позитивний досвід соціально-економічних і політичних перетворень Сінгапуру та Гонконгу може бути успішно використаний і в Україні, але з урахуванням соціальних, політичних, історичних та економічних особливостей нашої країни.

RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE FORMATION OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTERS

Summary

This article is devoted to the retrospective analysis of the formation of international financial centers, as key institutions of the global financial market, which, at the end of the twentieth century. began to play a key role in the accumulation and circulation of international capital, accompanied by an objective process of globalization and financialisation.
The historical aspects of the formation and development of international financial centers are considered. The article analyzes the approaches to defining the definition of "international financial center" in foreign and domestic literature, author's interpretation of this term is given. The features of the formation of traditional and "new" financial centers are singled out. The article states that countries aimed at the further formation of an international financial center in their territory should develop favorable conditions first of all. It is suggested that the positive experience of the socio-economic and political transformations of Singapore and Hong Kong can be successfully used in Ukraine, but taking into account the social, political, historical and economic peculiarities of our country.
