Анотація
Фінансова система України має надзвичайно багаті традиції та досвід, є історично сформованою, складною та багатогранною економічною категорією. Статтю присвячено аналізу особливостей функціонування фінансової системи України в умовах інституційної економіки, виокремленню проблем, що впливають на недосконалість фінансової системи та визначенню напрямів удосконалення її подальшої побудови. У статті проаналізовано підходи до визначення дефініції "фінансова" система, розглянуто структуру фінансової системи України за рівнями економіки та запропоновано шляхи модернізації існуючої фінансової системи.

Summary
The financial system of Ukraine has extremely rich traditions and experience, is a historically formed, complex and multifaceted economic category. The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of functioning of the financial system of Ukraine in the conditions of the institutional economy, the identification of problems affecting the imperfection of the financial system and the identification of areas for improving its further construction. The article analyzes the approaches to definition of the definition of "financial" system, considers the structure of the financial system of Ukraine by the levels of the economy and proposes ways of modernization of the existing financial system.
