СУЧАСНІ ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ РОЗВИТКУ РИНКУ ДЕРИВАТИВІВ В УКРАЇНІ

Анотація

Досліджено основні тенденції розвитку сучасного ринку деривативів України. В роботі проведено аналіз специфіки функціонування біржового сегменту ринку та динаміки його розвитку. Виокремлено провідні біржі, що зосереджують переважну більшість операцій з деривативами, та інструменти ринку, з якими проводяться торги. Результати дослідження довели наявність тенденцій зростання обсягів торгів деривативами; високої концентрації торгів на біржовому ринку; розширення кількості інструментів, що дозволяють інвесторам ефективно хеджувати ризики та можуть бути використані в рiзних iнвестицiйних стратегiях тощо. Визначено проблемні аспекти функціонування ринку деривативів: відсутність базового закону про деривативи, низька ліквідність та недостатня кількість внутрішніх інвесторів для досягнення необхідної глибини ринку; низький ступінь інформованості широкого кола дрібних та інституційних інвесторів про деривативи та всі можливі переваги, пов'язані з їх використанням, тощо. На основі проведеного дослідження розроблено рекомендації, націлені на створення сприятливих умов подальшого ефективного функціонування ринку деривативів в Україні.

MODERN TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF DERIVATIVES MARKET IN UKRAINE

Summary

Purpose of the study is to examine the features of formation and development of the derivatives market in Ukraine, to analyze the specificity of functioning and dynamics of the market, as well as to identify priority areas of development of the derivatives markets of Ukraine. The methodological basis of the study is historico-logical and systematic approach to the analysis of economic phenomena and processes in the national environment. The study was conducted using the methods: qualitative and quantitative comparison, factor and structural analysis. Results. The development of the derivatives market in Ukraine is characterized by: the growth of derivatives trading for the past decade; high concentration of trading volumes on the stock market; offering a wide range of derivative products allowing investors to effectively hedge risk, etc. The key problems of the derivatives market in Ukraine are low liquidity and international profile of exchanges, the lack of domestic investors for achieving the desired depth of the market and the lack of derivatives law. Practical value. Research of the derivatives market makes it possible to understand more about the mechanism of functioning of the modern financial sector. In our opinion, special attention should be paid to Ukraine, where the development of the derivatives market is understudied, although it has considerable growth potential. As the result of this study, we have elaborated recommendations aimed at increasing the interest of market players in performing operations with derivatives and creation of favorable conditions for the functioning of the derivatives market in Ukraine.
